PH Balance

 

PH is the measure of acidity or alkaline of your body’s fluids and tissues, you measure your ph on a scale from zero to fourteen. The more acidic your ph levels the lower the number, the more alkaline the higher the number. Your ph is a key factor in your overall health and wellness, The ideal body ph levels are around 7.3, often children have levels slightly more acid than adults around 7.4. Below seven is acidic and above seven is alkaline, the more acidic your body the more inclined it is to disease.

The American Diet

 

The American diet is very high in acid-producing foods which puts the majority of the people at high risk, this could explain why we are becoming very unhealthy and this is even affecting our children. There is no medical proof which I could find to prove there is any connection to the children disorders and our ph levels, oddly there is very little information period on children’s ph levels and how they could affect their health?  Most of the information on children is providing how your physician tests your child, I find it odd there is not an abundant of information on this since this is the key to a child’s overall health just as much as adults?

Balanced Diet

 

Now you know the foods which are acidic and alkaline, you are not supposed to eliminate all acidic foods. You need to balance these foods during your day, the majority of people in America consume mostly the foods on the acidic food list and less of the alkaline foods. By simply adjusting your diet to consuming the acidic foods in more moderation and increasing the alkaline foods, you will improve your ph balance levels naturally. Acidic levels causes and increases inflammation, this is the main reason our country has such a high autoimmune disease population. These foods are thought to be the reason for our epidemic in many of our health problems, we have just got to make some diet changes if we want to be healthier people in the future.

What Is On My Mind Today?

 

Again I am concerned about the children with special needs and their ph levels, could this have any effect on their symptoms and health? We do know this diet problem does cause many health risks, people with anxiety and depression become worse with high acidic levels? Our mental health disorders are still disorders because we do not know much about their causes, I do feel our diets have a role in our children’s disorders. Children with disorders who has made diet changes has experienced an improvement in their symptoms, we really must change our diets or our health is going to keep becoming worse.

  1. This was something you do not see everyday. It was really interesting and good content there. I came to know more about the ph thing as I learned a little about it in the school. Some really good informative content. i have always wondered about this small things which they are actually not
    They mean a lot and a little difference in the levels can lead to a major problem.

      I started this article in search of how our ph balance affects special needs children, to my surprise there is very little information on this. I did continue the article since it can make such a difference in anyone’s life, I am sure an acidic ph level affects special needs children since it affects everyone else in some way.

  3. I enjoyed reading this post. I don’t think people think about their PH levels much. It is amazing that they can cause all those problems.

    I suspect that my PH levels are high. If this is so important, why don’t the doctors check our PH?

    Can you check your PH by using a test strip on your tongue. I’m joking; but is there a way to check your PH at home?

       I thank you for reading this article and commenting, as the article shares you can check your ph levels at home with a ph test strip which I shared a link for you to order the test strips if you desired too. I do not know if our doctors do or don’t check our ph levels, I am sure the doctors do not tell us everything they are checking on when they order tests for us to take.
