  1. Jeff,

What does this medication do for people with these illnesses such as Alzheimers? I know that it says that it improves cognitive function, but will it provide a cure?

    1. Thank You Theresa
I appreciate your comment and question very much, there has been people with Alzheimer who has had improvement in their cognitive functions
but no this is not a cure for the disease. People who start using this herb when healthy would benefit much more then ones waiting until they
have the disease, the whole key is to keep your brain healthy so your chances are less that this disease effects your brain health. A health
brain like a healthy body is able to fight off disease then a unhealthy one.

  2. Great post, I had no idea that Ginkgo Biloba could make blood vessels thinner, it’s a very important thing to know. It’s amazing how this plant can have such good effects in patients with Alzheimer, but for how long do they have to take it, do you have any idea of this? I mean, is it something that would do them good if they took it continuously, all their life? or it’s better to take some breaks every couple of months?

    1. Thank You Ashley

The elderly and Alzheimer patients usually take this supplement continuously for as long as it works for them, it takes approximately one month to six weeks to build up in your body and start to see a difference. Continue usage is the key to this herb, if you stop and start all the time its like starting all over again.

  3. This is actually the first I’ve heard about Gingko Biloba. What exactly is it, a plant? Also where does it grow?

I have an aunt that has been diagnosed with onset of Alzheimer’s and I will definitely be looking into this, it is too bad though that the claimed results have not been substantiated by science. Hopefully there will be research reports coming soon!

    1. Thank You for your comment, Ginkgo Biloba is made from the Ginkgo tree leaves located in Asia. Actually it has been used in the Chinese culture for generations with great success, science has done research with people who have benefited from this herb but as you know if science can’t explain how it works they will not publish anything about it.

  4. Hello, I’ve been reading your website for quite some time now and I can say that really love it!

I’ve heard many good things about Ginkgo Biloba supplements. They are especially suitable for elderly people. My grandma has alzheimer and she’s using Ginkgo Biloba for quite some time now and it’s really working!

    Greetings from Lithuania!

    1. Thank you Lithuania

I thought your name sounded familiar, I truly to appreciate your interest to read my articles. I am so happy your grandma is improving with Ginkgo Biloba, it does work well for many elderly people and also younger people can benefit as well. It is one of the best all around cognitive natural supplements around, thank you again for your comment.

  5. This has been a great read, thanks! As I’m sitting here drinking my cuppa of Ginkgo Biloba, I just happen to stumble across your great website which made me enjoy this tea a whole lot more! I drink it for overall wellbeing and because it’s an amazing herb!

    1. Thank You Bettina

  6. Great to document over these ancient herbs which have so much power over ones health!

  7. very interesting article 🙂 I know this is a very serious disease but you see nature always takes care of us
we just have to look closer, to take care of the Mother earth:) and all the solutions are there.
thanks for sharing and is a really informative site .
Do you think that most of the diseases can be cured naturally?
    have a nice day

    1. Thank You Christina

I appreciate your comment and reading my article, I truly do believe with all my heart the solutions to all our health problems are available in natural herbal remedies provided by God. The problem today is more we are not solving the reason for these triggers to our health problems, instead looking for a quick fix. It is a no win battle as long as we keep exposing ourselves to the things which are the cause of our health problems today, (chemicals) herbal natural products can only ease our symptoms not cure them when we keep putting slow acting poisons into our bodies day after day.

  8. Good information to have! I would guess that many people who develop Alzheimer’s are also already on blood thinning medication because or their age so I am glad to know that you have to be careful with that. As I get older I have noticed that I don’t remember things as quickly so I may look further into this.

    1. Thank You Scott

I appreciate your comment and reading my article, people think forgetting things are a part of becoming older. That is not really true, unless we develop health issues to cause this problem, it does not have to do with just your age. Forgetting things and having to check on things more often if you did them are two early signs you should consider looking into your brain health. It is never too early to begin, age has nothing to do with it. There have been people much younger developing these health problems, these problems are not any longer just for the elderly and for sure does not have to be a part of your life when you age if you take care of yourself now while your still healthy.

  9. Hi Jeff. Love the site. I do believe that nature has everything we need to be healthy and stay that way. Alzheimer’s Disease really affects a family as I know first hand when my Grandfather had it.

Can you tell me are there any other things you can do along with taking the Ginko that will help?

    1. Thank You Amanda

I strongly believe and I have experienced a huge positive difference in my own brain health since adding a natural herbal supplement only a few years ago. Also I recommend keeping your brain active with simple but effective intellectual interests, a health brain diet is more powerful then people might imagine. In the past ,i was experiencing early brain function problems only in my late 30’s, I have reversed this by adding a healthy diet, intellectual activities and a natural herbal supplement.

This is my choice of natural herbal supplement today, its full of vitamins and minerals plus all the brain improving herbs recommended.

  10. This is some good information. This supplement sounds like something I would like to try in the future or tell my family members, seems like it has a lot of benefits Thanks for taking the time to write all this out for us.

    1. Thank you summerly
I am happy you left a comment on my website, I do hope you and your family consider adding
a all natural supplement in the near future. I wish you the best with your health and your
      families, take care.
