  1. Thanks for an interesting read about diabetes in children and how to detect it! It’s scary that diabetes is crawling down in ages, and is getting more and more common even in children. I think many parents are too stress nowadays juggling 1, 2, up to 3 jobs, and family responsibilities and give their children a lot of processed food, snacks and sweets. Children’s diet is getting worse, which I believe contribute a lot to the increasing diabetes number, and I see that you’re mentioning diet as a possible factor.

Our food in general contains too many chemicals, so it’s no wonder illnesses are increasing. Also, many children of today are sitting still too much watching TV, or playing video games, instead of being out playing and exercising. That’s another bad health factor.

Thanks again for a good article, and keep spreading good knowledge to people!
    Cheers,
    Stina

    1. Thank You

Helping parents with knowledge for healthier children is my passion in my life at this time, chemicals are ruining too many young lives and this needs to be stopped if you plan on having children.

  2. Hi Jeff,

Good article on diabetes. My family have a very long history with diabetes. A few of my cousins, aunties, and one of my grandmothers all have or had diabetes.

And I agree with you 100% that it is exposure to harsh industrial chemicals, not only in food but in everything around us! Carpets, water supply, paint, air pollution, household cleaning chemicals. The list is long and frightening.

I wonder if you, like me, find it ironic that buying organic food, the way it used to be grown for centuries without chemicals, is now WAY more expensive than buying food with little to no nutrient content that is laced with poison, and that is basically not good for a person?

Then, at the end of the day, we are directed to buy a medication for the illnesses and everyone wonders at the increasing incidence of these degenerative diseases!

    Capitalism gone mad!

    1. Thank you

I appreciate your comments, you have brought some very good points which I agree with as well we are poisoning ourselves and people just don’t seem to care until they become very ill with one of our autoimmune diseases then it is often too late

  3. Diabetes in children was unheard of during the last century. It is very normal during the millennium, is it due to the consumption of too much processed food by the adult that have toxic our body. It is the day we need to go back to our ancestor basic diet, fruit, fresh produce, nut plus whole grain. With the advanced of medical research, the diabetes gene can be pulled out from the parent cell the formation of zygote.

  4. Diabetes whether in the young or the older is so debilitating. To stay healthy in today’s world is an on going challenge, within the introduction of processed foods allowing an over saturation of chemicals, sugars, salts, and fats that are stripping the population of its health and immune function abilities. Your site is full of learning information that needs to be applied to our daily living towards better health and survival against the big companies that build the alluring fun tasting stuff that they call nutritious food. Thanks for the information in your site, I need to direct others to you to get informed and in the know. I myself have found a better healthier life style by stepping away from the processed world of so called nutricious foods. I will be returning to learn from your website.

    1. Thank you

I hope my article informs enough people to make a difference in many lives in the future, food is the key to our health and happiness and we are abusing our bodies with the food we are putting in our bodies right now.
