My Experience With Protein Supplements- Benefits

All Protein Supplements Are Not Created Equal

I always like to share my personal experiences in my posts, I suffer from a variety of health problems. My brain health for sure has been the most dramatic on my life over the years, but also I have suffered with much physical pain as well. Going on a gluten-free diet has decreased many of my brain and my physical health problems, but at the same time it has caused me other problems as well. The gluten-free diet has been a miracle cure for my brain health, as for my physical pain it has decreased the pain but I still experience pain in my life everyday. Living on a gluten-free diet you do not receive the nutrients you do on a gluten diet, I have realized the lack of nutrients has been the reason for my muscle and joint pain. I have experimented with a variety of protein supplements, energy bars and meal replacement bars has not worked well for me. I have found what works best for me has been protein bars, all protein bars are not created equal. Many I have tried in the past has been very high in sugar and calories, these did not really change my pain levels. After trial and error I have found the right product which works well for me, which has decreased my pain to the lowest it has been in many years.

High Quality Protein Bars

What you want to look for in a high quality product  is the  amount of protein it provides you, the product I use has 21 grams, 2-4 grams of sugar and 200 calories or less. These are are the first things I consider before trying a new product, your interest is to give more nutrients to your muscles not gain unwanted weight with too much sugar and carbs. Next you will want a product which is tasty, many of these products taste like cardboard. Depending on your taste preference, it might take you a while to find just the right one for you. If your experiencing muscle and joint pain, stiffness and achy it will be worth your time.

Benefits

If your like me, you might even receive more benefits then you are looking for. My pain is much more manageable for me now, I have also experienced weight loss and weight management which is an extra benefit. It did amaze me at first, I consume anywhere from 2 to 3 bars most days. I use these bars for my snacks during my day in between my meals, my choice of product tastes to me even better than my favorite candy bar. I notice an increase in my energy and production since adding my bars each day, being gluten-free I can carry them with me when I am out for a quick energy snack when needed. It is very difficult for me many times to find a place with food and drink which is gluten-free, so this has been another benefit for me. These bars are great for after you workout or participate in any physical activity, they really do help you recovery from your physical activity and be able to keep going. I was truly amazed how filling and satisfying these bars can be, I truly believe these are one of my most powerful improved health additions in my life today.

Final Thoughts

I hope if your in the market for this type of product, the information I have shared with you will assist you in choosing one which is a high quality product and provide you with the benefits mine is providing me. I recommend to avoid those breakfast bars and granola bars in the stores, most if you really check them out are high in sugar and not providing you with the nutrients you might think you are getting. Where in your favorite store you will find the better products are in the pharmacy or health aisles, I guess I should tackle the cost of these bars, you might think you can not afford them all the time. Well I am on a fixed income and I am able to keep them in the house most of the time, what I do is purchase these bars for my snacks which saves me from purchasing my normal snacks.

Please feel free to leave me comments or questions anytime, I am anxious to hear from you and what is on your mind.
