What Is On My Mind Today?

Inflammatory bowel disease is affecting way too many children’s lives, could it be the chemicals we are exposing ourselves too? Our lives are full of chemical exposure very single day, some would be almost impossible to avoid, but the chemicals in our food we can limit the exposure by eating whole natural foods? Our society has become lazy, and we do not prepare our meals from scratch very often if at all, many families are living on microwave food and fast food restaurants. The medical field only treats our symptoms to give our children some relief, we need to be solving the problem, not masking our health problems with medication.

  1. This is a serious problem. Kids need nutrition even more than adults so think they are being effected by such a condition is scary.
As an autoimmune disease have you seen any research linking it to anxiety? I have read some research that links autoimmune disease to anxiety and mental stress in adults.

    1. Thank You

From my own personal experience I have reduced my own anxiety issues through my diet, eliminating my trigger foods with the elimination diet

  2. I’m a firm believer that chemicals in today’s junk food are causing dire consequences for many people’s lifestyles.

Everything on earth is grown naturally to maintain a proper digestive system and healthy lifestyle but so many of us choose to go the takeaway route for ease, time restraints or to replace cooking duties but these foods are littered with chemicals leading to poor health yet taste so good.

It’s sad to see images like you have presented here, yet this is reality in today’s life unfortunately, poor education regarding eating the right foods simply isn’t registered on the curriculum nowadays.

I agree with you, we are lazy and prefer to swap the healthy vitamins and minerals for junk food however there’s no excuse for this as it’s far more costly to eat takeaways than prepare natural foods for the family.
    Thanks for your review,

    1. Thank You

The majority of families prefer the convenience over expense and time consuming to prepare healthy meals at home.

  3. Wow, this is really scary! I had no idea that IBS was so prevalent in children. The body is a remarkable machine that can withstand a lot of punishment before showing signs of breakdown. How would their digestive systems have been damaged so quickly? I have to wonder if it has to do with the chemicals that are put in cow’s milk. I am lactose intolerant but notice that when I go to some other countries and eat their ice cream or other milk-based foods, I don’t have the same reaction. I don’t believe they use the same ‘pasteurization’ process that is used here in the U.S.

    1. Thank You

Dairy is one of the most problem food sources when it comes to our health, in the USA they use many medications on dairy cows such as antibiotics for infections the cows receive and other health problems. These drugs are transferred into our bodies through their milk, children are very seriously affected since they consume large amounts of milk
