Combine these essential oils into the carrier oil of your choice, I recommend pouring the mixture into your bath while the water is running. You should not add these oils without one of the carrier oils recommended in the recipe, and since oil and water does not mix the essential oils will stick directly on your skin without being  mixed with a carrier oil.

What Is On My Mind Today?

Sometimes we must give in to using medication to ease our arthritis joint pain, but today the majority of us are using medication way too often and it can be causing us other health problems. Many of the pain relief medications over time can cause some people organ damage, I am proof when you are putting too many pain medications into your body how they can damage your organs. I recommend some of you try essential oils for some of your minor health problems, you might find out these work even better than those prescription pain medications you are taking now?

  1. Hi Jeff, this is interesting because I’m a totally believer in natural healing and as much as possible avoiding medication, but I had no idea there were so many essential oils that we could use for pain relief.
A good friend of mine recently had a knee operation but instead of feeling better, it’s hurting a lot and not getting better. Do you think using essential oils could offer some pain relief? and if so, which one would you recommend he try? Thanks! 🙂

    1. Thank You Soraya,

I also believe in natural remedies before taking medications, I will admit sometimes we must give in to meds, but we all should try the natural approaches first when possible.

Sage essential oil applied to your friend’s knee is a good one to try first, Sage has powerful anti-inflammatory which often is associated with knee pain. I would assume your friend’s knee is swollen, if this is the case Sage is one of the best for his swelling and his pain.

  2. It is good to see so many methods available to naturally reduce arthritis pain. I try to employ as many natural methods into my diet anyway, but arthritis can sometimes be a problem with my knees.

I am relatively young, but wrestling in high school was straining on them. Thank you for the informative post. Avoid medication at all costs is my opinion.

Medication is unnatural and often causes more problems than solutions.

    1. Thank You

I agree with you totally to go natural before giving in to medications, I understand knee pain too well I also suffer from knee pain but not nearly as severe as in the past.

  3. Hi, your topic is interesting and i took real interest in reading. True, too much medication can damage organs. I too am a living proof. I use to take pain relievers for a little bit of pain and now I realize how bad that was. I am a believer in essential oils. I have a lot of them handy around when i need them. I use them for muscle and joint pain for headache and for skin care. For pain, peppermint is my favorite. I have researched a lot about essential oils and their uses so I agree with everything you wrote here. Thanks you for sharing your experience.

    1. Thank You Rebecca,

I appreciate you sharing with my other readers and me your positive experience with essential oils, I also am partial to peppermint oil and lavender.

  4. Hi! Great post you have here. I didn’t know there are so many oils that can relieve arthritis pain.
I agree with you that prescribed medications actually creates more problems, and I always choose natural treatment if it is available.
What do you think is the best method to use these oils? Do we apply directly on our joint? Can we use them and take oral supplements at the same time?
    Thank you!!

    1. Thank You,

I appreciate you commenting today, you can apply these essential oils directly on your joints and I also recommend if you have diffuser use them in that way as well.

You will need to consult your physician before using any of these essential oils if you are taking other medications and supplements just to be safe

      Jeff
