I know a friend you would benefit from this as well. I will send them your way.

Protein is essential – this is what we.can conclude from this article of yours. You did a pretty good job at explaining why and how, yet I’m sure some people will still wonder if their protein coming from McDs is the same as such from grass-fed cattle.

I also like the fact that you mentioned carbs and the best sources of carbohydrates. Once again it’s not about stuffing yourself with sugar, but actually picking your carbs carefully.

When I hear the word protein, I cannot separate it from protein powders. Do you think we need them and which brands do you recommend?

      Thank You Simon

Eating out is one of the biggest problems with our protein intake, there is no way to know what type of protein you are ordering out especially with fast food places. I would suggest when you eat out order more health carbs like salads and small portions of the protein when not knowing where your protein is coming from.

I rarely order protein out, I usually carry a small supply of my protein powder with me and add it to my beverage and top my meal with that instead

I use Now Foods protein powder, it works the best for me and my digestive system. This is a good high protein supplement powder and great for vegan’s as well, experimenting with protein powders is your best strategy but be sure they are high in protein and vitamins and minerals and low in sugar and no presevatives

As someone who is working out regularly, I ensure I take my regular supply of protein through healthy white meat. Some days I also mix in my diet with Protein shakes to supplement that protein need. Protein is useful in so many ways, from recovery of muscles to increasing your metabolism and all. Great article you have here!
