What can a person do when the normal natural methods are no longer working for them, you can often relieve your pain during the early stages with managing your weight to relieve stress from your aching joints? Physician’s recommend low-impact exercise especially walking and cycling which is supposed to keep our joints less stiff and less painful for us? You must avoid over-stressing your joints as much as possible when you have joint inflammation problems, you must do your best to stay positive which is extremely difficult when you are in constant pain? What works best for myself is consuming a strict anti-inflammatory diet, you might be surprised how much this type of diet will relief your pain?

How To Get Started?
What you put into your body every single day can affect the severity of your arthritis joint pain, you will find consuming anti-inflammatory foods is your most important part of managing your pain? American’s experience more joint pain than any other country in the world, so many of us love our high-sodium and high-sugar diets we often are contributing to our own severity of our pain?
I have been battling joint pain since my mid-thirties; I have found through experimentation and research what works the most for me is what I put into my body most days? I have experienced I require much less low-impact exercise when I eat the right type of diet regularly, you can be your worse enemy for your pain and not even realize it?
When you stick to the arthritis diet plan you only require an average of fifteen to twenty minutes of low-impact exercise three times per week, you will find this is different for every person, but I recommend this as a good starting point for most of you? I never exercise more than twenty minutes in a day, and I never exercise more than four times per week to manage my pain?
For any of you who have not exercised or been active for a while due to your pain, you might need to begin doing low-impact exercise for only five-minutes at first to avoid extreme pain? You might have to gradually build up to fifteen to twenty minutes, I had to begin with five minutes myself and work up to my present twenty minute exercise period I do today?
For many of us the best low-impact exercise or activity is in a swimming pool, I highly recommend this for anyone who experiences increased pain with even short low-impact exercise? I started out walking to begin getting my body back into shape, but for many swimming is a much better option to consider if this is something you would enjoy more and is available?
What Should You Eat?
Many people struggle with any type of diet change, but consider this a lifestyle change to manage your pain more efficiently? Many of us experience extreme difficulty giving up our trigger foods, but once you give them up and start experiencing less stiff and painful joints you will be happy you made this change in your life?
Fruits / Veggies
These both are the base for your success to manage your arthritis joint pain, but the majority of us are not partial to either of these foods nearly as much as our processed trigger foods?
Aim for 1 1/2 to 2 cups of fruit per meal, and 2 to 3 cups of veggies per meal. I must admit I consume much more fruit than I do veggies most days, but this is a good goal to work towards for the future? The majority of us must gradually add more fruits and veggies and cut back on our favorite trigger processed foods? I recommend this to be your plan for this important lifestyle change to manage your pain, you will find it less stressful changing your diet gradually than attempting to go cold turkey all at one time?
These foods are very beneficial for you to manage your pain, so the more of these you can add to your diet the better you will be able to manage your pain?

Gluten is thought now by physician’s to be another trigger food for people with arthritis and autoimmune disease, so giving gluten-free a try might be something you wish to also gradually change in your new lifestyle?
Beans are so easy to add to your new lifestyle, I just add one or two handfuls when I am preparing my meals such as soups and stews? I have even added cooked beans to my veggies and salads, you will find this an easy method to benefit from beans?

This is the part of your new lifestyle change the majority of people find the most difficult to adjust too, you can cut back on these foods gradually which is recommended to experience lower levels of cravings? People who make small gradual changes are the ones which most often can stick to this new lifestyle, you will find it a challenge at first but as time goes by your body will reward you with less pain and you will experience a better quality of life?
Gluten & Dairy
Gluten and dairy is something you need to experiment with to see if these might be trigger foods for you, I had to give up both of these food groups which is a major lifestyle without a doubt? Everyone with joint pain does not experience these as trigger foods, but I do recommend you take one month without either of these and see how you feel?
Many people experience nightshades as trigger food for their joint pain, I recommend you eliminate these from your diet for one month as well and see if you notice a positive change?
Most of us love our sodium, but many of us are receiving way more than we need in our diets today, you will find there is more than enough sodium in many of your foods and adding more is not healthy for you? Sodium in high amounts can trigger joint pain in some of us, but some people it might not be a problem so experimentation is needed to find out if this is a problem for you?
Sugar is another possible trigger for your joint pain, you will also realize sugar is addiction once you cut back on your high-sugar products? Many of don’t need to eliminate sodium and sugar completely from your diets, I experience as long as I consume them in moderation I am able to manage my joint pain fine?
Artificial sweeteners should be eliminated from your diet, you will find many medical professionals now feel these products are triggers for joint pain and possibly even some forms of cancers? It all comes down to living a lifestyle with as many natural food sources as possible and as little processed artificial foods as possible, so maybe you are doing everything right and you need something more to manage your pain?
What About Medications?
The majority of us look for a quick fix to manage our pain, you might find medication’s to be needed even with your new lifestyle changes? You really should change your lifestyle before giving in to pain medication’s, so many of us become dependant on these medications and even overuse them which can cause us other health problems?

These are nasty medications with many side-effects if used long-term, you will not find many physician’s to prescribe these long-term unless you are experiencing severe chronic joint pain?
