This is the last of my children anxiety series at this time, more likely later I will do another series for the parents who was not able to read these articles. Concerned parents all over the world are frustrated over their children’s health problems, most parents feel so helpless. Many trips to your child’s physician has not really helped their child all that much, many are on medications which are often giving these children more symptoms from the side-effects. Depending on your child will determine which symptoms they are experiencing, the best way to take this information is if your child is experiencing at least 5 or more of these symptoms regularly there is a very good chance your child has some anxiety issues. What is the most important characteristic to watch out for is their daily behavior routines,  behavior changes are a very good sign something is going on with your child. Many times a child will not express to their parents  what is wrong with them, often this is because the child has no idea why they are feeling the way they do.

    Herbs are so amazing for your health. I mean really think abut it and kids back 100+ years ago would have had these herbs all of the time. Doctors were treating people for sickness with these all of the time. It was a part of their day to day. Now we have to MAKE SURE to put them in our diet. Great article and thanks for the info.

    You would think the adults are the ones that have emotional or health issues. So it’s a shame children have same kind of issues when they shouldn’t, and be on medications, too. Children shouldn’t have to take medication every time they have an emotional issues like depression or panic attack. That’s good there are some supplements children can take, instead.

    as a father your headline grabbed my attention.
    you have a very good post with all herbs and medics that can be used to treat anxiety.
    i am glad you have listed the symptoms that one should look out for.

    as far as i am concerned, parents are more to blame than anything if their child suffers from anxiety to the point where medication is required.

    we live in a materialistic world where patience is rare. all I see and hear these days are parents fulfilling THEIR desires to the detriment of their children.

    if you are not ready to look after kids, then dont have any!

    parents needs to constantly and daily provide love, TLC, understanding, and the big one…patience and time and friendship to their children. if they do, children will stay happy and when they have any problems they will open up to their parents and reveal all due to the trust, understanding and warmth they feel towards their parents. children also need support every single day. both parents have to remind themselves of this to each other so they do not forget. both parents are required to work together.

    it is heart breaking to see small children suffering. they are so vulnerable.

    thank you for your site. i hope it is an eye opener for parents and hopefully they show more towards their children. in the event they need any medics, your post should help.

      I am extremely pleased with your commenting this article today, many parents I feel do want the best for their children but many times our stressful lives causes many parents to struggle themselves to take care of their own anxiety and depression issues.

      I agree, if your not ready to give 100% to your children, you should not have children until you are ready too. Many children are living in single parent homes, this is really too much for one person to raise children on their own.

      I hope I have not offended any parents, I am just trying to show you our children are in need of our loving tender care to grow up to be healthy adults.

    I want to thank you for this website. I am a parent and regardless of my experience with my children I think that there is always room to learn more. Reading the content on your website page has been helpful. I also feel like medicine should be a last result when a parent is dealing with his or her child. What do you think people or the parent community should do about the childhood disorder pertaining to the subject food supply? There must be a number of solutions for the lack of nutrients that our bodies and our children bodies intake.

      I do feel our food is our main problem causing our anxiety today, mainly it is all the chemicals causing a change in our brain chemistry causing our symptoms. I have experienced a very huge difference by adjusting to a natural diet of vegetables, fruit, nuts and seeds and grass-fed meats, this diet has decreased my symptoms a great deal and by adding a natural herbal supplement I am doing quite well now.

      How can we trust the food and drug administration with them allowing all the chemicals to be put into our food and them to say they are safe and healthy.

    I’m so glad you’re bringing up the subject of nutrition linked to a child’s behavior. My daughter used to be extremely anxious for no apparent reason. After how many trips to the doctors (of all sorts) and a lot of money spent on medication, someone mentioned to me that maybe we should have her tested for allergies. Thank God we did because that turned out to be the problem. She was allergic to food colorants and flavorants, as well as to a host of other things such as bread, peanuts etc. Thanks for the informative article!

      I am very happy you found the reason for your daughter being anxious, I also experienced a similar problem with food. If she still has some anxiety, another option you could try which worked wonders for me was to eliminate gluten from her diet. Gluten causes anxiety in many people, especially people who have food allergies

    Hello, The article you wrote above is really helpful towards children who suffer from anxiety and so on. Thank you 🙂 but besides these natural remedies. We always need to remember that gut health is the most important as it may be the root cause for a lot of ailments. It can be seen in children with autism as well. As mentioned in some of the comments, the childs diet is essential but also we cant restrict them off things. So, I guess balance needs to be achieved 🙂 I hope i have not been critical.       I enjoy your commenting on children and anxiety, children do need treats in moderation. Moderation is the key
      to a healthy balanced diet, everyone including myself desire goodies now and then. Mine is chocolate, so to
      make it a little healthier I eat chocolate covered fruit or nuts.

    I have just recently become aware of the powerful and beneficial nature of herbs.I am completely convinced that herbs can positively affect just about anyone. Although I do believe we have to be careful with them due to their powerful nature; I feel like herbs are much safer for children than most modern day medicines!

    I agree that our foods, even if homemade, don’t have everything we need to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I mean, most of our foods are injected with steroids, veggies, chicken and eggs all-together. That’s why there are so many more health problems today than ever before in the past. I do seriously believe that food is one thing that needs to remain natural. We are what we eat, after all.

We can only do our best when it comes to our food, we have little control over the food industry so what I do is eat mainly natural food products without the preservatives and other nasty stuff messing up our brain and body chemistry.
