Guided meditation is available in many methods today, like anything classes are the best method but not the only method you can use. There are many meditation resources available, the most preferred by the majority of people are in the compact disc form. The guide will ask you to get comfortable before starting the meditation, I prefer laying down and listening with my eyes closed but sitting up is fine if you can relax that way. Being an anxious person relaxing is very difficult for me, so laying down on my bed works best for me. The guide then will give you some visualizations to relax you and prepare you, just follow the guides steps the best of your ability. Starting out many people who are naturally anxious or stressed will have some difficulty possibly at first, like anything the more you do it the better you will get at it. The more high anxiety and stressed you are the longer it might take for you to feel the benefits, it took me a while since I was very severely anxious and stressed with some depression as well. I started to notice something happening after about one week of doing this daily, now I do it at least everyday and sometimes more depending on my levels of anxiety and stress. Once you master this technique, you will be a new person and a happier person with a much healthier brain.
