How It Works

Guided meditation is available in many methods today, like anything classes are the best method but not the only method you can use.  There are many meditation resources available, the most preferred by the majority of people are in the compact disc form. The guide will ask you to get comfortable before starting the meditation, I prefer laying down and listening with my eyes closed but sitting up is fine if you can relax that way. Being an anxious person relaxing is very difficult for me, so laying down on my bed works best for me. The more high anxiety and stressed you are the longer it might take for you to feel the benefits, it took me a while since I was very severely anxious and stressed with some depression as well. I started to notice something happening after about one week of doing this daily, now I do it at least everyday and sometimes more depending on my levels of anxiety and stress. Once you master this technique, you will be a new person and a happier person with a much healthier brain.

I find following the guidance on a cd to be much easier to relax and focus as well, this in my opinion is the meditation you should use especially as a beginner.

    Meditation…I have heard about it, been intrigued by it, but have not really understood it. After visiting your site, I am truly considering meditation for creative inspiration and personal improvement. I try every day to help others conquer their physical challenges and underlying emotional/mental barriers–primarily depression and fear of falling, but I can see now that mediation might give me personal clarity and happiness with a creative flare.     Hi there. I did not know that there are many types of meditation. I come from the culture where meditation is very popular but I have not practice it much. I have tried yoga for sometimes. I think this will greatly benefit anxious people. And this is a good way to do it rather than using drugs. Thanks for sharing!

    Your site is very informative. I have always been a fan of meditation but was under the impression that meditation was supposed to last around 15 minutes. I will definitely have to check your site periodically to research more on this type of meditation.

      You will find even 5 minutes several times per day will give you some benefits, it is best to begin with shorter periods and work up to meditating for longer periods. Many people can not start out meditating very long, it is even frustrating for some people first starting out not use to being still this long.
